Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, located in southwestern Uganda, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its dense rainforests and as one of the most biologically diverse areas in the world. Covering approximately 321 square kilometers, the park’s rugged terrain consists of steep hills and deep valleys, blanketed by a dense canopy of trees. Bwindi is world-famous for being home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas, making it a premier destination for gorilla trekking.
